Dr. Janna Spahr brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and precision to her practice. Originally from Shawnee, Kansas, she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology from Texas Christian University before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center – College of Dentistry.

Her commitment to service and excellence led her to the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where she served as a Lieutenant and completed advanced education in general dentistry at Great Lakes Naval Dental Center in Waukegan, Illinois. Her military service included deployments with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 in California, Puerto Rico, and Okinawa.

Dr. Spahr is a member of the Nebraska Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and has earned the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) designation. She is also a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Her passion for dentistry began with her own orthodontic experience as a teen, when her orthodontist encouraged her to pursue the field. Today, she helps patients achieve confident, healthy smiles through orthodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and digital dentistry. She especially enjoys problem-solving to find personalized solutions that bring out each patient’s best smile.

Dr. Spahr also taught in the removable prosthodontics department at the University of Nebraska Medical Center – College of Dentistry from 2001 to 2007, sharing her expertise with future dental professionals.

In addition to her professional pursuits, she enjoys life’s little joys — chips and queso as her snack of choice, dark chocolate as her sweet indulgence, and starting every morning with a Diet Coke. When it’s game time, you’ll find her cheering on Nebraska volleyball, whether it’s the powerhouse Cornhuskers or the pro-level excitement of the Supernovas.

Dr. Spahr lives in Milford, Nebraska, with her husband, Dr. Jeff Spahr. They have two daughters.
